GTL QESHM Company has been established in Iran since early of 2014. This company has been started to construct the first GTL plant in Iran-Persian Gulf. Gas-to-liquids conversion enables the production of similar products as are presently produced from crude oil and is completely environmentally friendly. The project is located at the Qeshm free zone area. The plant capacity is 3000 bbl/day of different refinery products including LPG, Naphta, Diesel and Wax. Following activities is under progress:
- Basic engineering design with cooperation of RIPI (Research Institute petroleum Industries)
- Process simulation
- Catalyst bulk production and test
- Site Mobilization in Qeshm Island
- Detail engineering, procurement engineering and construction of the steam reformer
